BORSALINO K is born the 10th March 1997 in Brazil, at Aratinga stud of Murillo Kammer. His sire ENCORE ALI, was bred by Mickaël Byatt in the United States in 1990. After winning the titles of Canadian National Futurity Champion and US National Futurity Top 10, he was sold in Brazil for a record price. There, despite his untimely death, he has sired several great champions.
Through his sire, BORSALINO K is a grandson to one of the most influent sire of the whole Arabian breed, the sire of more than 400 foals, the legendary ALI JAMAAL. Bred by the Bergen family in the United States, and exported to Haras Meia Lua of Lenita Peroy in Brazil, ALI JAMAAL was the first stallion in History to win two United States National titles as a Junior and a Senior stallion. He was also champion in Scottsdale and at the Canadian National Championships.
ALI JAMAAL is himself a son of very influent US National Reserve Champion RUMINAJA ALI, a grandson of Egyptian bred legend MORAFIC.
Borsalino's dam, KEEPSAKE V, is a product of World reputed breeding program of Sheila Varian in California. She won the US National Futurity Reserve champion title and was 4 times US National Top 10 Mare. He is a great daughter of US National English Pleasure Reserve Champion HUCKLEBERRY BEY, and trhough her dam, a granddaughter of iconic US and Canada National champion KHEMOSABI.
Borsalino K is the sire of several champions in the World and notably RAYYANA K, Brazilian National Champion Mare and Scottsdale Champion Mare in the USA, LORENA EL MADAN, Brazilian National Champion, or CICILLA, Italian National Reserve Champion. But he is even more known for the exceptionnal breeding qualities of his daughters.
