SZAINA is the first foal of homebred Belgian National Champion and multi-international Champion SUZANNA, one of the best Belgian bred daughter of Polish, Nations Cup, European and World Champion Stallion EKSTERN. On her dam' side, SZAINA is the heiress of a unbroken dynasty of four generations of national champions established by the Swedish National and Nations Cup Champion SAGANA, followed by Double Swedish National Champion SZANSA, and by Swedish National Junior Reserve Champion SPLENDIDA, her granddam, and finally her own mother, homebred SUZANNA, who won the title in Belgium as a junior and a senior mare. This exceptional damline traces to SAKLA, the full sister to legendary ESTOKADA, the foundress of World famous Michalów 'E' line.
The sire of SZAINA, OM EL SHAHMAAN, is the heir and chief progenitor in his birth stud of the fabulous line of legendary EL SHAKLAN, his grandsire. He succeded his epochal father, World Junior Champion SANADIK EL SHAKLAN, one of the most successful sire of international champions of his time. OM EL SHAHMAAN traces also in several lines to the legendary Spanish mare ESTOPA, who is nowadays considered as one of the five most influential mare in the Arabian breed history. Like his father SANADIK EL SHAKLAN before him, and his son OM EL BELLISSIMO just after him, OM EL SHAHMAAN was used by the Polish State Studs. The succes of these breedings is impressive considering the small number of foals born.
